I wish life didn’t seem so weird,

Wish I wasn’t jealous of the flying bird,

Feel like flying to another planet

Somewhere the happiness will never set

Where familiar faces will make me smile,

Where eternity will seem like just a while,

Where tear drops will never fall,

Where all calamities will seem small,

And I’ll spend all my time laughing

At every small simple beautiful thing.

 

I wish love wouldn’t be so complicated,

Those three words wouldn’t be so degraded,

And every smile and wink had a meaning,

And an end was only a new beginning.

Where only happiness would be the reason for tears

And contentment would replace all fears.

There would be no room for unfulfilled expectations

No loss, no fear, no tears, no complications.

Where reality would be better and would last

Longer than dreams and memories of the past.
